I have led training courses on topics such as Supervisory Tools, which I have extensive experience of, and Whistleblowing, which I am the department champion for. These have been delivered across several departments including crypto who have little experience with supervisory tools. They have requested I make this course a regular fixture due to the feedback it received.Part of my role within the team is also to assist less experienced colleagues in their calls or meetings with firms to support them and ask any questions based on my experience.In addition to these extra responsibilities, I am the lead supervisor managing the regulatory relationship with several high-profile E-Money firms. 2 are among the largest in our portfolio, safeguarding close to half a billion euros each and have had long standing issues in terms of compliance. A further is in the process of strict enforcement action to prevent movement of funds in light of financial crime concerns. Engaging with their senior management on a regular basis to discuss the best way forward in each case. Presenting myself and the FCA in a professional manner and being very clear regarding what our expectations are in each case.I work independently and using my own judgement to prioritise work in my queue. This enables a smooth and organised way to address highest priorities in order. I am flexible to incoming priorities which need to be escalated quickly. With my additional responsibilities, I can see high importance actions across the team and support colleagues in working to prioritise accordingly.I have detailed knowledge and understanding of the FCA’s regulatory framework from a general perspective, but specifically related to e-money issuers and retail banks. I have led the use of supervisory tools such as s166, VREQs, Undertakings to reduce harm and have transferred my knowledge of these tools to others in the team.

Responsible for re-modelling the financial tracking process within the Infrastructure Product Group (IPG). Circa £11m annual budget.Billing for 3rd party contractors had been unclear until I was able to bring forward a new approach which showed how much project teams were being billed for each project. Clear picture of FCA exposure to each contractor had been obtained thanks to my system.Leader of the Diversity and Inclusion team within BTS. Leading the team with the departments D&I agenda, regularly presenting and speaking to Senior Leadership about progress and next steps.Management of license subscriptions for software used within the team. Stanlow Refinery, Cheshire

Coveted 2 month summer internship at Essar Oil UK's Stanlow refinery, Cheshire. Working primarily in the reliability team, my main project was the investigation of a problematic sump pit, giving recommendations on a new pump to be installed with current and future demands at this location considered. Further work included improvement of material concessions systems, diagnostics for business critical equipment and gaining an appreciation for working in this sort of environment. A detailed report and presentation for my time at Stanlow was produced and is available upon request.

An initial 1 year placement with ChargePoint Technology, extended by a further 2 months. ChargePoint Technology is a bespoke manufacturer of spilt butterfly valves for the pharmaceutical and food industry. Supporting lead engineers on projects such as the design of a new extraction system for the Pharamsafe Pro range, prototype analysis, design on smaller projects and managing the logistics of OEL Testing. Learning in a different way to that taught at university allowed me to expand my understanding of an engineering environment and increase my enthusiasm.
