• 3rd shift duties: Monitor the scheduled reboots of the servers located in the NOC. Perform maintenance/repair on servers as necessary (hard drive replacement, or dispatch technician).• Respond to help desk tickets (HEAT)• Co-developed an in-house C#/ASP web application that combined the Exchange Global Address Lists of other Randstad offices internationally. The application exported these contacts via XML and then uploaded to a MSSQL database. To update the contacts the application performed the steps in reverse. Each office submits their contacts as well as retrieves contacts from other locations.• Wrote several VBS scripts to perform automated maintenance and notify me of status changes on the network.• Active Directory 2003 maintenance of the entire US and UK domain (several thousand objects combined). This normally comes in the form of password resets and account creation/deletion requests from the UK.• Monitor Control-M processes used within the Peoplesoft environment.

• Responsible for the maintenance of over 83 servers loaded with VMWare ESX 2.5.3 which hosts over 280 terminal servers and process schedulers used for Peoplesoft development and production systems. This also includes servers used for disaster recovery.• Linux administration – VMWare ESX is a product based off of Redhat so administrative duties were necessary on those 83 host machines. Perl and VBS (on the windows end) scripting was used for automation of virtual machine rollout• Extensive use of VMWare Virtual Center• Participated in developing a plan to migrate the company to Virtual Infrastructure 3.• CedarCrestone is a Dell shop so I have extensive server hardware experience with 1650, 1750, 1850, 1855 (Blade servers), and 2650 lines.• Wrote a set of visual basic scripts that rapidly deploy new terminal servers or process schedulers when requested. A new server can be deployed within an hour (it is imaged but there are some aspects and post setup tasks that can’t be saved in an image)• Active Directory maintenance of over 500 internal employees and about 30 hosted clients (approximately 1000+ users).
