Platoon Leader in an Air Assault Field Artillery Battery capable of deploying worldwide; responsible for the command, control, training, employment, development, and readiness of 14 Non-Commissioned Officers and 26 Soldiers; conducts all maneuver, emplacement, direct and indirect fire planning and coordination in support of full spectrum operations. Ensures the platoon is trained on all individual and collective tasks; provides professional counseling to Soldiers while assisting the Battery Commander in training and combat operations; responsible for maintenance, serviceability, and accountability of three M119A3 howitzers, 15 HMMWV, two MTVs, and all platoon organic equipment valued in excess of 8 million dollars.

Fire Direction Officer for a platoon of M119A3 howitzer unit charged with providing timely and accurate fires for the 101st Airborne. Responsible for the health and welfare of nine Soldiers within the section and over 1.5 million dollars worth of property.

Served as the operations manager of Battalion class one (food) requests for over 600 Soldiers. Responsible for coordinating all meal requests and ensuring they were filled in a timely manner before and during field training exercises.

Completed 20 weeks/36 blocks of instruction in order to receive certification through the state of North Carolina.
