I am a private pilot, aviation enthusiast, and nineteen-year-old self-supporting college student. I’ve been into flying since I was six years old, watching airplanes land and take off at my home airport. When I wasn’t at Manassas Regional, I was studying aeronautics books and building my own triple-screen flight simulator cockpits on lawn-mowing cash. I became a volunteer with the local EAA Chapter, joined the VA-102 Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, and eventually worked as a lineman at Manassas Regional. I worked hard and earned a $10,000 scholarship from EAA Chapter 186, completing my private pilot rating five months later while working full time. I am a friend to many aviators and the many people that helped me along the way. I enjoy sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, working with horses, and working on just about anything mechanical or technical.
