My name is Anthony and I am part of an amazing finance team.Finance and investing have become my passion during the past 4 years. This led me into the pursuit of day trading. Now, I know what some of you may be thinking: One of those guys, eh? Get rich quick and easy? Nothing could be further from the truth. During my time trading, I became highly advanced in excel, proficient with VBA, and adept with data analysis. I took classes in programming; spent thousands of hours working my way through the labyrinth of SEC documents for hundreds of companies; created large databases (that I personally tracked and built) for financial and statistical analysis; and developed and tested trading strategies. I say all this to highlight two points: 1) When I am passionate about something, I am all in. I am passionate about both finance and investing 2) To showcase an example of my work ethic.Before my role and experience in equities trading, I had the opportunity to grow and develop myself as an accountant with Startek Inc. Here I learned the ways of corporate GL accounting. I worked with multi-currency accounting, financial statement prep, GL account reconciliation, and SEC reporting; all of which have helped me prepare for an even greater pursuit within the finance industry.Additionally, I hold a Bachelors Degree of Accounting from Pensacola Christian College. During my time as a student, I worked 35 hours per week while taking 17 - 19 credits per semester and saving some time for extra curricular activities. Working my way through college enabled me to graduate debt free.
