Anthony Curro has over 35 years of executive experience in life sciences, technology, and finance. He consults with both public and private organizations on matters related to business strategy, market/risk assessment, global distribution, and the commercialization of novel biotechnologies. His network extends through the Americas, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. Curro serves as the board chair of Xylyx Bio, and is executive board member at Immplacate, Inc. Prior to his current appointments, Curro was CEO at Spruce Technology, where he led the advisory services firm through an extended period of high growth and expansion. Before that, Curro was vice president at Alliance Bernstein, a global asset management and specialized research services firm. He also served as vice president and general manager of Australia-based Compumedics, a leading medical technology firm for neurology and sleep diagnostics, heading up their North American business unit. Prior to Compumedics, Curro was a director at medical device powerhouse Guidant (Boston Scientific), where he was involved in various aspects of the cardiovascular portfolio of products. Curro earned an MBA from Columbia Business School where he achieved honors, was the elected academic representative, and was the recipient of the distinguished service award. He earned a BA, magna cum laude, in liberal arts and economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University. While at FDU, he was a member of the NCAA varsity soccer team and was inducted into the international honor society for economics – Omicron Delta Epsilon. Curro also served on the board and is the former finance chair of The Doe Fund: Ready, Willing and Able, a not-for-profit located in Philadelphia. He is an active member of the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York, Former President of the Philadelphia Columbia University Alumni Association, and is a Columbia Graduate School of Business Ambassador.
