In my 12 years of military experience I gained a wide variety of knowledge across maybe avenues. I grew my mechanical aptitude throughout my time in the Marine Corps, while also beginning to hone my leadership traits. After transitioning to the Army as an MP within a few months I went to Special Forces selection and after a 2 year qualification course earned my Green Beret. Within 1st Group I further expanded my leadership abilities, while also gaining new knowledge in construction planning/implementation, logistics, budgeting, training and most importantly mission planning.After my transition out the military I have been focused on obtaining my bachelors degree, while working as an engineer within the powergrid industry. I have a very wide spectrum of experience that allows me to accomplish goals through outside of the box thinking and solutions. I am an experienced leader who can improve teams. My goal is to work with individuals who want to make the world a better place.

Vehicle commander positions were normally held by Sergeants (E5) or Staff Sergeants (E6). I was a Lance Corporal (E3). Multiple higher ranked Marines were passed over when I was put in charge. I was technically in charge of Marines that were a higher rank than me. I had to be very diplomatic and careful how I communicated in order to get the job done and not create a negative situation that could affect our safety, and possibly loss of life.
