Supplying and installing Steel/plastic and Phenolic Ducting for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Industry.

Over 5 years at sea with excellent engineering training and experience on a wide range of machinery and there systems. As a "scale B" Marine Engineering Mechanic I would:• Assist in maintenance on but not limited to: Boilers and Evaporators, Paxman Ventura Diesel Generators, Hydraulics and HP/LP Pneumatic systems, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Chilled water plants, Rolls Royce Olympus and Tyne Engines, Forced Lubrication systems, Sewage Treatment Plants, fuel, water, steam, oil and bilge systems.As a fuel Technician I would:• Transfer and clean fuel using centrifuges while preventing the ship from listing.• Set up the fuelling point and configure the system for a RAS (replenishment at sea) and also along side in harbour.• Maintain and clean centrifuge pumps repairing or replacing valves and issuing logistic reports on a daily basis using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Spreadsheet.As an experienced MEM1 watch keeper I would:• Pay meticulous attention to detail on all machinery.• Take readings using a MIMIC to upload and download routes around the ship to take readings on machinery and plant as you walk round, reporting anything unusual found on route. Part of the Standing Sea Emergency Party I'd take part in weekly fire and flood drills and was also part of the Attack BA team for fighting fires in engine spaces and engine modules during action stations. In a dangerous situation I was able to keep my cool and make excellent judgement and decision making during a fire on-board HMS Southampton, resulting in the fire being kept under control and eventually put out.

Completed a Sheet Metal Work Apprenticeship and gaining numerous welding and fabrication qualifications. Working from drawings to mark out, cut, fold and weld metal from sheet to the finished product. Using CNC break presses, fly presses, punching machines, guillotines and various hand tools all in a workshop environment working 12 hour day and night shifts.
