My excellent business domain knowledge enabled me to be a well-rounded member of the software projects team who was always able to grasp key operational concepts and requirements for system development projects. Such experience would not have been gained without my time spent various operational roles prior to this.

Role entailed building a high-performing team to exceed operational objectives and benchmarks in respect of residential and commercial loan processing, valuations and broker accreditations to achieve and maintain prudent lending and exceptional customer service. My responsibilities included managing my team through frequent company policy and legislative changes, conducting bi-annual performance reviews and facilitating monthly development discussions and performance management. In addition to these people skills I was also involved in strategic initiatives such as facilitating professional development sessions for junior staff members across the department and consistently finding ways to improve the mortgage application process for our customers by engaging with business stakeholders and software development teams.
