I work with our sales team to specify and purchase cooking equipment, refrigeration, and furniture. I maintain over 30 products lines and work with sales reps from various companies; True Refrigeration, Robot Coupe, VitaMix, Nemco, Hatco, Sammic, FMP, Component Hardware just to name a few. Job duties also include researching & purchasing of parts, handling returns, warranty & non-warranty service calls, all receiving of equipment with full damage inspection, maintaining showroom pieces, stocking appliance items, documenting financial terms on equipment purchases for our AR department. I pride myself in my customer service skills so I make site visits with customers to go over their equipment needs as well as take any walk-in customers. I have regularly attended the NRA and NAFEM shows since my start date to stay current with foodservice equipment and furniture. Hired as an order puller and quickly learned the process. Began training new employees within my first 30 days. Learned to drive forklift & high lift to assist with stocking. Handled all warehouse returns, equipment orders, opening orders, and organization of warehouse. Job included loading trucks for the next day’s deliveries. I also went on the road with drivers on Friday’s. Was promoted to assistant warehouse manager in April 2014.

On call bookkeeper for American Data / Horseman's Guarantee. I filled in for the regulars when time off needed. Duties include opening office, recording hose race results accurately to disperse payment into the owner, trainer, and jockey accounts. I would deal directly with the horseman and transfer money / issue checks on site. I was able to take cash deposits, upwards of $60,000 which I would relocate and deposit into the racetrack vault. In the event a horse was to be claimed I monitored the "claim box" and ensured the forms were filled out correctly and handed in at the appropriate time per the IL State regulations. Maintained office and phones alone and was responsible for locking up at end of night. The job required me as an outside contractor to travel to Palatine, Crete, Cicero, Maywood, or Indiana depending on who needed time off.
