- Administer Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager for the school district  - Build and maintain system images for various models of desktops, laptops, netbooks, and Mac desktops - Deploy system images and software packages with Microsoft SCCM and Deploy Studio Server for Mac - Oversee security updates, software updates, and anti-virus - Manage Active Directory; create and manage user accounts, e-mail, security groups, and distribution lists - Manage Group Policy; configure computer policies that conform to the school district’s Acceptable Use Policy and apply settings based on location and purpose - Pull data and build reports for administration to review student progress  - Web Application Programming; build websites to interact with various district databases - Supervise the help desk by assigning work orders to the correct technician and making sure orders were resolved in a timely manner - Answers help desk phone lines and electronic help requests. Attempt to resolve user issues and assign to a field technician if there is not a remote resolution - Monitor internet usage and prevent abuse, review websites for compliance with district’s Acceptable Use Policy, and report internet traffic to administrators when required - Build and maintain servers for student applications.
