As a child I developed an interest in music and radio while watching Time Life music infomercials on TV. After playing in school bands in junior high and high school, I was a member of my own band, and then became a club DJ and MC. My passion for music covers all eras and genres, from 60’s classics, to Hard Rock, Disco, 80's pop and rock, 90’s alternative, 90’s dance and hip hop, country, reggae, and all eras of pop music. As a music director, I have gained extensive experience in music testing and audience analysis, but also understand that not all aspects of our relationship with music can be quantified. Music truly evokes emotions and is just as much something we experience as it is something we listen to. I think this is where I excel, by combining metrics and analysis with audience interests to develop programming that truly engages listeners. In my free time you can find me going to concerts, playing my guitar around the campfire, spending time with my wife and nephew, and watching the Raptors!
