Perform duties under the guidance of a registered professional engineer:· Assist in construction management of various projects including grading, drainage, stormwater, roadway improvement, and other projects.· Prepare construction plans and other project documents· Perform layout, drafting and design work on a variety of roadway, stormwater and other projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D· Participate in technical review meetings with engineering and planning staff; coordinates work or work in progress with other employees, public agencies, and other groups · Prepare grading plans, profiles and road design using AutoCAD Civil 3D· Collaborate with outside agencies and staff on projects· Review submittals to ensure compliance with City, State, and Federal codes, compliances and laws· Project management experience as the point of contact for the coordination of construction projects. Complete site inspections to ensure the project is built to engineering plans and local standards.· Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget· Problem solve and communicate directly with contractors. Review construction project plans, specifications and maps· Develop and implement a culvert design
