👋 Hi there! I'm Anthony, and I've been navigating the fascinating world of agronomy for the past 25 years. Time flies when you're having fun! 🌱🔬 My academic background is a bit of a twist—I hold a BSc in Animal Biology, an Honours degree in Microbiology & Molecular Biology, and a Graduate Certificate in Entomology. Unconventional, I know, but it's given me a unique lens to look at agriculture.🐞 I had the privilege of managing Australia's largest private insectary, "Bugs for Bugs," for six years. These days, I'm deeply involved with tree crops, especially citrus. 🍊🌏 I'm driven by a simple yet powerful goal: to make agriculture both economically and environmentally sustainable through modern science. Growing up on a farm, this mission is close to my heart.🔍 Currently, I'm wearing multiple hats at Metagen, THE SOIL HEALTH COMPANY. We're all about leveraging Advanced Microbial Technology to boost productivity and sustainability for Aussie growers. From DNA soil health testing to pathogen isolation and identification, we've got the lab work covered. Plus, we produce soil treatments, plant health products and foliars tailored for Australian conditions.🌱 I also manage Total Grower Services (Burnett), a local agronomy business. TGS Burnett is based in Bundy and has a great team of agronomists with exceptional experience.
