Dr. Anthony Driggers is a graduate of Howard University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He also earned a Master of Science Administration degree in Human Resources Management from Lincoln University, and a doctorate degree in Higher Education Administration from Widener University. His areas of expertise include college admissions, persistence and retention, and qualitative research methods. He has provided counsel and guidance to thousands of students, including traditional students, adult learners, undergraduate and graduate students, and international students. Dr. Driggers has published scholarly research on the issue of college persistence for African-American males. He has published the book, “But When They Call You Doctor!: The Lived Experience of My Pursuit of a Doctorate Degree.” The book helps scholars navigate their way through the dissertation process.Dr. Driggers maintains an active presence in the research community through his membership on several dissertation committees and teaching research methods at local universities, including the HBCU, Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. He also provides counsel to doctoral candidates regarding research methodology and design. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Options Without Walls, a firm that provides research-based strategies, consulting, conferences, workshops, and other academic enrichment programs and services to help scholars at all levels of education, persist and meet their educational goals.
