Serves as the Deputy Director of the Human resources Service Division and heads the Staffing Service.Support the Director in her management of the Division as part of senior management team. Represent her in meetings and act as OIC of the Division in her absence. Leads the development and implementation the organization's talent acquisition and workforce planning strategy. Ensures the Division maintains and refreshes talent pools in order to meet future staffing needs for skilled personnel in the various job families in line with the Organization's imperatives of a balanced gender, geographical and troop- and police-contributing country representation among the global workforce.Oversee the Organization's operational workforce planning. Provide guidance on organizational design and staffing structures, review staffing against models and benchmarks on a regular basis and link the operational and evolving needs of clients with staffing programmes to anticipate vacancies and required skills/potential applicants.Oversee specialist assessment support to hiring managers. Develop and support for psychometric and technical testing, examination and assessments to all entities in the form of tools, testing content and platforms. Oversee Language Proficiency Exam (LPE) and the Global General Service Test (GGST). Administration of the young professionals programme (YPP) and the managed reassignment programmeReview existing UN HR policies, procedures and practices with a view to streamlining and making a better client experience for all involved. Take the lead on proposing, developing and implementing HR process improvements with a current focus on recruitment and onboarding.Represent the Department in Interagency (OneHR, Field Group, SMC and the HR network), staff management (Staff Management Committee, Field Joint Negotiating Committee) and legislative fora ( ACABQ, Fifth Committee, JIU, ICSC)
