Key Responsibilities- Head of Hosting services for Origin Energy, Australia’s leading integrated energy provider.- Hosting services include:- Platform Services – Wintel, Unix, Linux - in both traditional and Cloud service models, supporting Origin's critical business services.- Storage and backup services – both distributed and centralised to Data Centre’s across both traditional and Cloud service offerings.- Database services.- Responsible for developing infrastructure service delivery strategy, supporting delivery plans and service outcomes that maximise the value and capabilities of Origin’s internal IT teams and preferred service providers.- Responsible for ensuring quality, innovative and cost effective services that enable Origin’s strategic agenda and support current business objectives. - Actively contributing to cost management initiatives focused on increased productivity and reduced cost / greater value returns.- Responsible for managing significant annual operating budget as well as developing and maintaining effective financial controls and ensuring transparency of cost and capability required to deliver services to agreed service levels.- Providing leadership in accordance with Origin’s principles, commitments and values as well as actively contributing to the leadership and development of the Service Delivery function through behaviour modelling, coaching/mentoring, and performance/development management.- Escalation and resolution of delivery issues within the Hosting portfolio.- Development and recommendation of strategic technology changes as well as leading strategic working groups for key change programs and recommending service contract changes.
