Conducted work sampling study to identify performance issues in the wire harness production process. •Identified two main categories of costs due to poor quality from wire harnesses in main production facility.•Proposed two quality control solutions which consisted of: 1) testing the wire harnesses prior to its shipment to the main production facility and 2) the re-design of the wire harness work table. •Responsible for managing project milestones as well as presenting project results to the Winnebago Management •Produced materials cost savings to Winnebago of approximately $200,000+ per year. Annual labor cost savings was indeterminable since the company did not keep track of these costs, but estimated to be in the millions of dollars. -
