I'm part of the D team; we focus on improving Google's global file system. In particular, my work focuses on improving the performance of Google's storage infrastructure.

At BrainHi I helped implement product features as well as the supporting infrastructure. This included building out infrastructure on AWS and working with the Django Web Framework. I also led a project to create a background service running natively on client's computers which would keep their data in sync with our servers.

My work focused on improving Airbnb's secrets management infrastructure. In addition, I focused on projects ensuring that new services were set up with smart and secure defaults. This effort helped improve developer speed since we managed to eliminate a portion of the time spent on configuring new services.

Cybersecurity research on Software Defined Networks in the context of defending against adaptive attackers and predicting future attacks by these types of adversaries.

Worked on a yearlong project to develop tools in order to better extract information from unstructured data. Specifically, my project dealt with detecting faces within a video and using online image databases along with textual clues in the video in order to match identities to the faces detected.

Worked on optimizing backend processes for Facebook's Graph Search infrastructure.

Researched web vulnerabilities within the NodeJS environment.

Implemented a secure search protocol on top of Gmail for the "private email" project at the Cyber Security REU program at the University of Maryland.

- Lead a group of 6 to 8 students through daily in-class problem sets- Grade and review preparation questions and weekly quizzes

- Assisted online math classes on Pre-algebra, Geometry, Number Theory and Algebra

- Implemented a real time AJAX data entry application - Worked on back-end features with data entry using PHP/MySQL
