The New Jersey Building Authority funds, designs, and builds historic and sophisticated buildings for the state of NJ. As Executive Director, I have taken a hands on approach, not only managing my staff but actually applying the 40 years of hands on construction experience working and successfully completing projects within budget and on time. My career started as a Union Carpenter-Millwright apprentice learning the trades. I have many certifications from Project Management, OSHA, Scaffolding, Excavation, and Bridge welding Certifications. Through my years, I have physically performed all aspects of construction, manufacturing tooling, and buildings from ground up to final millwork. I have owned my own home improvement company as well as being employed by fortune 500 companies including Ford Motor Company and Merck Pharmaceuticals before moving to NJBA as a Project Manager, Chief of Construction, and then on to Executive Director
