Born in Hong Kong, now living in Scotland and studying for 3 years with his local tutor at Loud ‘n’ Proud, Anthony went on to further his study of music with the specific focus on drums at National 4 and 5 level during his latter years of secondary education.After completing a work placement in January 2012 with Glasgow based inclusive music and arts organisation, Paragon Music during his time in high school education, Anthony also volunteered with them from 2014-16.Anthony hold a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Music Production from Glasgow’s Academy of Music and Sound. In August 2016, he went on to continue my studies until June 2018 focussing on a HNC/D.Anthony was highly motivated to return and begin freelance work in January 2022 with Glasgow based inclusive music and arts organisation Paragon Music as an Inclusive Music Practitioner after a week long, intensive training programme. The programme was aimed at providing him with the opportunity to enhance his inclusive music and dance practice and workshop facilitation skills and gain a solid understanding in the fundamentals of Disability Equality and Child Protection.In May of the following year, Anthony became a mentor on Paragon’s ‘Groove’ artist development programme - designed for aspiring musicians and dancers aged 16+. In January 2023/24, Anthony was a member of the staff team who delivered Paragon’s Inclusive Practice training programme for professional music and dance practitioners currently working in the field. The five day programme was aimed to equip practitioners with innovative tools for developing their arts and facilitation skills in equitable and inclusive ways.
