Nursing care of critically ill children and adults in emergency departments and intensive care units.

Supervision of funded programs bringing asthma education to schools and community groups, supervision of patient-support services and management of research and pilot projects.

As an emergency preparedness coordinator with MSF during the landmark pre-referendum period for South Sudan's independence, i was responsible for the development of our emergency response in case of critical humanitarian breakdown. This was an extensive process of baseline evaluation, stakeholder mapping and risk identification which resulted in creation of an emergency backup base and rapid emergency response to an outbreak of violence in the post referendum period in the contested region of Abyei.

Responsible for the execution of emergency response project (war surgery)

As a medical field coordinator in the volatile Abyei region of South Sudan, i was responsible for the management of two seperate primary health care activities- the mobile clinics in the north of the state and the outpatients department in the south part. Due to the intense political situation in Abyei, this position required significant negotiation, diplomacy and delicate planning.
