Rio Tinto - Cape Lambert Power Station.Responsible for Piping Layout and design for a green fields power station comprising 2 GE Gas Electric Generator trains, 1 Steam Turbine Electric Generator, associated Cooling Water, Water Treatment and Diesel Storage/Supply areas. All works for the project required equipment, structural, Piping and Pipe Supports to be modeled using Smartpkant S3D.

Responsible for developing the work face planning schedule for the OSBL underground piping systems. Task required continual liason worth assigned field supervisors to ensure that the correct materials had been sourced, available and delivered for the work fronts as needed. All material movement required input into client project materials tracking and shipping registers. Other tasks included walking of installed lines to ensure correct installation and design of field modifications where required. The role also included manipulating the client supplied Smartplant model to create a series of filters that represented the current work pack scopes for each area and work group so that the supervisors could more easily define completed and outstanding works.

APA Group - Turee Creek Compressor Station Project. Responsible for coordinating the shop fabrication of the piping spools and structural steel for delivery to site. This included materials requisition & issuing to fabrication contractors, maintaining project priorities & schedules,answering contractor TQ’s and progress inspections. Tracking fab progress for daily reporting by creating spool, weld and material trackers, shipping and logistics trackers to track spool movement.Quality Inspection reporting for fabrication and Coatings including Blasting, Galvanizing and Painting inspections. Supervised & coordinated load-out of steel and spools for shipment to site.Contract management including frequent Fabricator meetings, weekly client and project progress meetings and fabrication progress presentations.Once completed I was transferred to the Estimation team to assist with the completion of tenders for future works.

Apache/Clough : Varanus Island Late Life Compressor Project.Senior Piping Designer responsible for designing the Flare and Vent systems for two new compressors and associated modules.Design work was completed using Smartplant 3D software.

Clough/Downer JVCSBP Ammonia Nitrate NAAN 3 Project.Senior Piping Designer, Utilising PDS to layout and design the piping for the Compressor Building, AN3 facility and the Pipe Racks.

Pluto LNG Project Transferred from Perth to Site upon completion of Perth based scope as a part of the Site A’ Storage and Loadout Facilities Construction Team. Role initially involved supporting the mechanical construction field supervisors, this evolved into a supervision role for all aspects of the Coating and Insulation contract, including managing the continuality and completion of P&I work fronts to meet required release dates for RFU completion whilst mainting QA/QC and HSE requirements. The role required managing and supervising multiple workfronts across multiple disciplines within the P&I contract both in the field and in the office including directing the contractor to client required workfront priorities, maintaining workflow between mechanical and P&I requirements, coordinating paint and insulation releases, answering and assisting with contractor field enquiries, QA/QC completion inspections, signing of completion ITRs, generating Contractor Change Directions, maintaining workflow registers and managing a blast and paint yard. Whilst undertaking the above tasks a serious defect within the fabrication yard installed insulation was discovered which required the managing and directing of multiple contractors to complete the insulation defect retification to project specifications under an extremely tight schedule to meet the client required RFU dates. Project KPIs also required for all supervisors engage the contractors in the field to ensure the the project HSE policies where successfully adhered too .

Pluto LNG Project Responsible for the creation of 3D model, production isometrics , G.A’s and production documents for the Site B waste water treatment plant facilities for the Pluto LNG project. Layout and design was achieved using PDS equipment and Piping modeling and smart plant 3D viewer.

Maari Field Wellhead Platform Complete the final piping design drawings and finalise & check the 3D PDS model. Once completed I was transferred to the platform installation group to draft the various storyboard and production drawings required for the load out, transportation, platform jacking and installation equipment removal for the self sustaining wellhead platform. The Job also included site visits to the fabrication yard in Lamut Thailand.

MV – Crystal Ocean FPSO Conversion / Upgrade Night shift client rep to witness & assist high pressure leak testing, Punchlist upcoming test packs and supervised completion of punchlist repair items. Once completed was retained to provide As Built P&id’s, G.A’s, Iso’s & Valve lists during the FPSO’s return offshore journey from Singapore to Australia.
