Associate Clinical Director (Acd)
CurrentI undertake a voluntary role around 5 hours per week, undertaking Clinical oversight of the Education and Development processes across the charity, supporting the sign off process for internally designed training materials and providing assurance as required.Collaborative working with the Quality and Assurance team to ensure that learning is embedded in clinical practice across the charity, and results in positive change in the delivery of patient careNational oversight and development of HCP students in practice, including the designing and implementation of policies and programmes in relation to clinical skills and competencies prior to registrationProvision of clinical expertise to training to guarantee currency of clinical practice and implementation of change in relation to national policies and guidelines e.g. NICEClinical advice to media operations including internal and external communication on First Aid advice on all social media platforms, posters, blogs and clinical materialLead on specific projects related to this position agreed by the National Clinical Team and the Clinical CommitteeSupport the recruitment, motivation and development of clinical members including HCPs, ensuring the Medical and Clinical Directorate have the strength, resources, expertise, and credibility as the providers of expert clinical knowledge and are recognised as such, throughout the charityAdvisory support the Medical Director to provide clinical oversight in all aspects of the organisation including clinical training, professional development and researchAssist in the review of clinical policies, procedures and trainingI am involved in the stakeholder management of the clinical aspects of the charity’s objectives in support of the Medical DirectorI assist in the delivery of good clinical governance, clinical audit and risk management and adverse event reportingI also when required, cover the absence of a fellow ACD
