The experience gained from my internships with NASA and GSI Globecomm Systems Inc. provided me with a high level of familiarity and understanding in a range of related engineering and technical writing disciplines. At NASA, I was given sole responsibility for the design and operation of an optimization analysis program. From this project, I received valuable understanding in program and software communications, and experience in writing the computer code necessary for proper functionality. At GSI Globecomm Systems Inc., my duties required involvement in all phases of a project, which provided me experience in other facets of the corporate engineering process including the manufacturing and construction of products, as well as customer relations. Furthermore, while at Rutgers University, I participated in independent research, which in addition to the fundamentals of the design and research process, I received experience working in a laboratory setting. Communication, both verbal and written, is one of my strong characteristics, honed through the many papers, reports, and oral presentations I have done in both collegiate and corporate settings. The ability to think creatively and learn quickly are self admittedly two of my best qualities. I am able to work individually as well as flourish in a team environment. Lastly, the opportunity of growth within the company in responsibility is a necessary quality.
