As an industrial generator technician for Generac i troubleshoot circuits, read schematics and wiring diagrams, perform loadbanks, troubleshoot automatic transfer switches, perform engine repair on diesel and gaseous engines, perform routine preventative mainenance, and perform start ups (commissioning) of industrial generators. i have also worked on all major brands such as Caterpillar/Olympian, Cummins/Onan, Kohler, and other major brands.

I was a residential/commercial Generac technician with this company. also worked on residential Briggs and Stratton Generators as well. i troubleshot circuits, performed engine repairs on small single and twin cylinder up to larger gaseous engines, and performed preventative maintenance as well.

Served for 5 years total. i was a main engine rooms electrician so i mainly worked with motors, diesel generators, motor controllers, and various other types of electrical equipment through out the ships main engine rooms. i was awarded various medals and also received commendation letters from the commanding officer aboard the ship i was on. was qualified up as far as i could go as an electricians mate as well as my Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification.
