Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines for a CAP and CLIA certified facility. Manage all procurement, maintenance, and construction project management. Work closely with Roche’s SHE (EH&S) program to ensure the highest standards of compliance.• Successfully drove the initiation of programs to obtain CAP and CLIA certification, partnering with various departments (IT, Research & Development, etc.) to establish a clear set of operating procedures.• Managed a number of small tenant improvement projects including, but not limited to, space planning for office and laboratory design and upgrades to common areas.• Created risk assessment program and disaster recovery programs.• Provided project management for $43.5M expansion adding 67,000 sq. feet of office and laboratory space conforming to Roche guidelines.

The BioCube provides flexible office space, access to state-of-art lab facilities, and business support to promising life science, nanotech, and cleantech startup companies. Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the 37,000 sq. foot facility through the implementation of policies and procedures with the ultimate goal of ensuring a well-managed, well- maintained property with an emphasis on a positive and timely response to the concerns and needs of the client/occupant.• Assure full compliance of all service providers with property specifications and standards.• Execute and supervise preventive maintenance plans.• Oversee the correction of maintenance issues that relate to the interior space and exterior of the building, as applicable.• Manage property to identify, prevent, address, and eliminate all environmental, health and safety issues, including fire and life safety inspections; advise clients of fire hazards and regulatory compliance requirements in their workspace.• Manage staff size of 10 employees to ensure that day to day tasks are being met.• Review and understand leases.• Assist Project Management and Engineering, Design and Construction personnel.
