I’m a seasoned, detail-oriented Project Manager with 15 years of experience delivering projects on-time and under budget. My career experience and skills have grown from my love for construction and the desire to make a profound and lasting impact on my community. As the Director of Public Works and Engineering Services for the City of Huntington, IN, I was instrumental in delivering over $100M+ of impactful projects. Since 2014, I have personally managed 9 projects over $3M with a total estimated savings of $20M+ using value engineering principles.Teamwork is an internal part to any organization and it is to me personally and I am privileged to lead a group of 10 individuals that work hard everyday.I wear many hats at the City, which allows me the unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary, complex projects. Favorite Project: The construction of a new Veterans Memorial. It’s not every day you get to move a M4A1 Sherman Tank or a Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star fighter jet. I am so proud that we are able to honor our Veterans in a substantial and meaningful way.Most Complex Project: The Rabbit Run Phase I CSO Tank. As project #3 of the City’s approved $63M Long Term Control Plan and likely one of the most expensive at almost $16M, this project included the construction of a 2.25MG concrete, storage tank for combined sewer. The project included blasting of limestone to depths of 40’, the use of #18 rebar (largest domestic rebar made), and the installation of 9,800 cubic yards of concrete. Outside the office I love to travel with my wife, Tia. We enjoy spending time on the water, either a pool or lake. Our two cats Sugar and Pepper are spoiled and enjoy nice weather as much as we do. I live and breath the San Francisco 49ers in the winter and the Chicago Cubs in the Summer. I enjoy working outdoors, home improvement projects and anything with BBQ in the title. I am always looking for opportunities to hone my skills and help an organization grow.
