The Chief Cultural Officer (CCO) will institute and sustain a healing framework that is guided by Tribal beliefs and value systems. The CCO will be responsible for the cultivation of cultural innovation throughout the agency. The CCO will directly oversee agency-wide cultural expansion projects such as Landgevity and the Cultural Center, in addition to overseeing the Community Wellness Department and ensuring contract compliance and programming excellence.

The Site Director (SD) of Community Wellness is responsible for the strategic planning andadministration of a multi-site program operating in San Francisco, Oakland and Richmond thatprovides culturally sensitive and supportive community programs. CWD oversees NAHCSocial Determinants of Health (SDOH) programs, which include: social service programmingfor youth and adults, cultural programming, health education, system navigation/ coordinationservices, and HIV/AIDS prevention and care. Services are rooted in a holistic provision modelthat integrates prevention, community-engagement, cultural-competence, and provideslinkages to other treatment services.

The Clinical Director was responsible for overseeing an ASAM 3.7 inpatient Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders program and associated continuum of case sectors. Supervision of clinical, case management and peer support professionals, all programming components, responsibility for maintaining program standards, policies, and licenses/certifications/accreditations. Maintained a small case load, ran groups, conducted psycho-education groups, and was part of executive committee.

The Executive Director (ED) was responsible for the administration and overall leadership of the Urban Indian Center of SaltLake (UICSL) in its mission to preserve the heritage, enhance the well-being, and strengthen the future of The People, as well as to serve our low-income community members from all ethnic backgrounds at its satellite facilities. The ED’s primary task is to provide vision, leadership and a positive work environment while working with program directors to plan, direct, monitor, evaluate and report on the organization’s efforts to build up individuals and families and reinforce their culturalheritage and values. The ED fosters productive relationships among employees, consumers, AI/AN organizations and tribes, government entities, and community partner organizations. Ultimately, the ED’s authority derives from the UICSL’s Board of Directors who provide legal, ethical, fiscal and spiritual oversight for the organization.

Responsible for oversight/management of grant funded program and development of high performing team. Identifies opportunities to implement best practice approaches and introduce innovations to better address the Northern Ute Tribes needs across the continuum of care. Director is accountable for meeting the financial, operational, and quality objectives of the Indian Health Services Annual Funding Agreement.
