-Develop tailored supply chain and supplier strategies to meet the unique needs of customers or address strategic materials within the business unit.-Support customer requirements by leveraging standard processes when applicable and designing custom solutions when necessary. Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager and SCM to define the best approach to fulfill customer expectations effectively.-Clearly communicate Jabil’s expectations to suppliers.-Conduct supplier evaluations, including audits, certifications, and performance reviews, to strengthen and continuously improve the supplier network.-Analyze and project component pricing to ensure inventory value aligns accurately with financial period requirements under the standard cost process.-Negotiate agreements that prioritize the best interests of Jabil and its customers, including terms for liability, special storage arrangements, and non-standard agreements when required.-Work with internal teams and customers to expand the Approved Manufacturer List (AML) by adding preferred or strategic suppliers that align with Jabil’s sourcing strategy.-Continuously drive material cost optimization and minimize unfavorable price variances (PPV/MPV). ----Collaborate with the BUM to secure customer approval for additional costs, such as material surcharges, freight fees, or tooling expenses incurred on their behalf.

-Monitor and control inventory levels of materials, using the available reports and applications in the MFGPRO system.-Timely and properly execute the MRP exception messages (cancel, defer, place new orders, etc ...) to ensure availability of inventory of material requirements and compliance with the inventory reduction plans. -Review and ensure correct parameters or fields of procurement in the system (lead times, MOQ, MPQ, etc.) are updated.-Monitor, control and manage receipts, shipments and inventory levels of materials belonging to the commodity.-Support on projects to reduce costs, optimize logistics processes, operations processes, projects Materials, NPI.-Analyze monthly reports of inventory levels of the plant, both in costs as production days. Weekly inventory analysis.-Monitor and track the metrics of key business indicators, such as on-time delivery (OTD), quality (PPM), price stability, flexibility and service.-Provide direct support with the accounting department for physical inventory process.-Give support to other areas (quality, production, planning, finance, customer service, engineering, etc ...) as may be required.-Work on suppliers’ invoices resolution.
