Anthony Hall, a former Drug squad (SANAB) and Murder and Robbery​ unit Detective went from a successful businessman to the park bench through alcohol and drugs.Anthony founded R.A.E.L. on the 21st September 2007, and today he is a sought after motivational speaker, and co-founder with Karin Hall of RAEL - House of Davnik, Safe and Sober Living farm.This is a rehab like no other. They nurtures these men as if they were their own sons.RAEL's "no nonsense" and hard core approach, has seen many people get their lives back after being destroyed by addiction.     The RAEL Orange Friday Wave is about creating awareness around addiction and to remove the stigma.The RAEL organisation founded by Anthony Hall after he lost his nephew to drug abuse.Anthony is an activist in making people aware of the ills of substance abuse and assists many addicts and families caught in addiction.FounderRecovering Addicts Empowering Lives R.A.E.LRAEL offers a safe and sober living environment during recovery from substance abuse. Having worked extensively on the ground, and being a recovered alcoholic himself , Anthony Hall has seen the desperate need for safe havens required in the Western Cape, where the recovering person has time to find themselves again , and heal spiritually and physically, before being able to reintegrate back into society as a functioning member.The smallholding offers the comforts of a safe environment, where spiritual growth, woodworking, pottery and housekeeping is the order of the day in terms of finding routine and accepting responsibility. The premises are located within walking distance of the Bree River, and there are large grounds for gardening and vegetable growing for those with green fingers. Members are assisted in opening bank accounts, obtaining drivers licenses, and identification documents.We follow a 12 step program and the members have access to a social worker who teaches life skills on the premises.
