The role is required to closely work with and support the HR Director undertaking a number of projects including reviewing existing company practices and policies, and opportunities of driving efficiencies throughout the organisation including job evaluations and restructuring, whilst also providing basis ER advice to Field Managers on a day to day basis.

Job Role Stand-alone position to provide HR operations at all levels within the business by providing comprehensive, accurate and commercial advise to appropriate Management as appropriate. • Appointed in the role to set up and establish a Human Resources Department and develop key networking and support within the organisation, implement and evaluate new HR processes to meet business needs and reflect best practice. • Support Senior Management Teams and highlight potential risks, procedures and best practice. • Manage all ER casework at all levels, involving consultations, flexible working, grievances, disciplinary, capability issues and settlement agreements, escalating to SMT’s where required however retaining full ownership. • Support and coach all line managers on operational issues ensuring commercial and high quality advice is provided. • Deliver training workshops on employment matters i.e. conducting investigations and disciplinaries, performance and absence management, recruitment and selection, with the objective of upskilling existing managers to ensure and clarify an understanding of expectations. • Through monthly and weekly reporting, support Senior Management and the Finance Director to track actual spend against forecast using knowledge of employee movement and absence trends. • Support appropriate Line Management to prepare business justification for additional recruitment that sits outside of budget. • Review existing policies and procedures, contracts of employment etc. to ensure up to date with changes in legislation, best practice and compliance. • Undertake and contribute to ad-hoc HR related projects as required.
