Working in the Application and Development team. My role and main responsibilities include configuring and deploying menu updates across all ordering platforms. These are Micros RES EM which covers our POS system within the restaurants, the website through Pizza Hut Digital Ventures and our in hut ordering App with Adactus. I am also responsible for the maintenance and smooth running of our forecasting and scheduling tool, Vantage, from both a technical and account management stance. I have worked on a number of projects, including the roll out of Mastercards QKR! app, the deployment of the Adactus ordering app and most significantly the development of a new POS system to be rolled out to the estate with Tevalis. I held both technical and project management roles within this project that had made it to trial in two restaurants prior to the Covid lockdowns.

This job has improved my interpersonal skill's dealing with different types of people on a daily basis and trying to gain improvement from them all. The job involves giving clients an enjoyable day on the mountain whilst working on improving their skill level. This involves balancing a number of factors and keeping each member of the class happy which utilises and improves interpersonal skills every day.Through this job I have also worked towards and achieved a number of extra qualifications including avalanche safety training, ski race coaching and disability snowsports instruction.

10 weeks spent in the marketing department of Premiership football team Bolton Wanderers. I undertook a number of tasks while at the club and developed numerous skills in the process. I benchmarked the marketing department against other football clubs and also other large leisure organisations. My main project was associated with my university dissertation and involved creating and distributing a survey to match going fans in relation to buying the matchday programme. It aimed to find out what motivated fans to purchase the programme, or why they didn't buy it, in order to understand what supporters want from it and therefore what changes should be made. This was done with a large focus on social media, which is a relatively new influence on football.

Working with the Marketing team at BWFC for a month on placement. I began the planning process for the marketing campaign to sell season tickets for the following season. I was tasked with analysing KPI's using Microsoft Excel and also became familiar with Snap Surveys creating customer satisfaction surveys being sent out to supporters. I also spent a small amount of time with the media team at a pre-match press conference and working on articles for the match-day programme.
