· I was hired under Rotating Machinery Technology Inc. as a design engineer. Under that position I am responsible for designing or reverse engineering precision bearings, seals, and components for turbo-machinery and other high performance equipment and specialized tooling for special manufacturing techniques. I started out using AutoCAD, transitioned through Mechanical Desktop, and finally using Solidworks for design and drawings. At times I have traveled to customer facilities to assist in various capacities.· In 2005, after our third party support company dissolved, I took over the role of IT administrator. This position involved designing, maintaining, and supporting a small network of approximately thirty workstations and two servers. This included sourcing hardware and software to support the business.· On July 1st 2009 RMT was purchased by Lufkin Industries. My engineering and IT duties remained largely unchanged. The size and complexity of the network grew slightly.· In December of 2011 Lufkin transitioned to a new accounting software, SAP. This is when I was assigned an additional role as SAP Gatekeeper. Under this role I am responsible for entering and maintaining all materials and BOM's for every item we build, buy, or sell.· In July of 2012 Lufkin began an expansion project which involved purchasing an existing building and remodeling it to serve our needs. My role for this project was the installation of the voice and data network. This included the running and termination of the voice and data lines as well as moving the existing PBX from the old facility to the new. I also designed, sourced, and installed the multi-media system in the conference rooms, training room, board room, and reception area.· On July 1st 2013 GE purchased Lufkin Ind. Again, my duties remained largely unchanged. Some of my duties as an IT admin were transitioned to the GE IT team. Under GE I took on the role of site Emergency Response Team leader.
