I maintain an active white-collar criminal defense, environmental, regulatory compliance and enforcement, and complex litigation practice. I’ve expanded the firm’s cybersecurity and data privacy practice. I also developed a growing energy regulatory practice and conduct cases before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, including first-chair experience at Oklahoma Corporation Commission hearings on merits. My regulatory practice also includes advocating for individuals and companies in front of various municipal, state, and federal regulatory agencies, including the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, Oklahoma Ethics Commission, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Clients have also trusted to represent them when facing disciplinary actions from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision, the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy, Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners, and the Oklahoma Board of Examiners in Optometry.

I teach a upper-level Cybersecurity Law class for second and third-year law students. I developed a curriculum that focuses on breach response plans, protecting critical infrastructure, cyber crimes, and current privacy issues.

I was selected as a Cybersecurity Fellow as part of New America’s Cyber Initiative. I wrote and spoke about cybersecurity issues related to the enhancement of diversity in the field of cybersecurity, the future of data privacy, and the development of cybersecurity policy in midsize cities and rural states.
