Having completed 20 years service for the Ministry of Defence I have decided to retire. After a short break, including a walk round the South West coastal path I will look for part time work, to keep brain active. Career summary; 27 years Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer and Diver. includig exchange service with the Ecuadorian Navy. On transition to the civilian world I trained in Safety Management and spent 3 years as a Safety Manager in a Composite Moulding company. 5 years MOD (RAF) as Professional and Technology Officer (Specialist Training School, RAF Halton -Safety, Quality and Environmental). I was priveliged to have spent the last 16 year leading the Functional Safety team at Royal Airforce College Cranwell, where we have contributed to the significant changes that have taken place on the site. A life time interest in boats, racing and cruising, also 20 years commercial experience in Marine industry working at Excel and Southampton Boat Shows - Zodiac Liferafts, inflatable Boats and Outboard Engines.
