- Support the development of grants through writing, fact finding, and preparing supplementary materials - Analyze collected data, draft, and revise manuscripts for publication- Manage the assessment of funded programs, including the administration of surveys, coordination of focus groups and development and submission of IRB applications- Help develop and coordinate programming to support graduate student professional development in STEM education, and programming to support access to research experiences for undergraduates

I teach college preparatory chemistry at the University of Kansas through a program called Upward Bound which focuses on preparing students for the rigor of college and providing them a framework to be challenged, and pushed to learn effective ways to study.

I have the opportunity to teach wonderful students in many different areas of science, I like to focus on lab based learning and other types of experiential learning when teaching science. I teach/have taught the following courses at Seabury: Biology, Advanced Biology, Earth Science, Advanced Chemistry, and Physical Science.

I am responsible for consulting on the General Laboratory Solution as well as PowerChart solution. Additionally I do build work for the client, if there is an issue that needs to be fixed behind the scenes my training has provided me with resources to troubleshoot the issues and fix problems with the system.

I am doing research in the area of Manganese chemistry, specifically related to the formation of a peroxo species. In addition to the optimization of the peroxo species I am also working to determine how this complex reacts when acid/and or base are present.

I tutor students who need extra help in General Chemistry 1 and 2 as well as introductory Chemistry. I also create worksheets and quizzes in order to assess what the students know and enable them to learn the material and retain the information.

I am responsible for co-managing my scholarship hall, Battenfeld. I monitor the men in the hall and engage with them day to day. I create the menus for our halls meals (20 a week). I am also in charge of the cooks in the hall and oversee them in order to ensure our meals are well balanced.

I researched the binding and the oxidative damage done by a Manganese-Bacitracin complex by way of Michaelis-Menten Kinetic Analysis. I also performed preliminary studies in regard to the binding and oxidative kinetics of a Manganese-Beta Amyloid complex.
