Anthony is an all-round architect and emerging talent of the Hassell Team. Over the past decade, he has built a diverse range of knowledge working for award-winning practices around the world. He understands buildings need to be respectful to both the land and cultures it may impact. He loves Queensland and sees the potential of what it can become. The connection along the east coast from Gold Coast, through Brisbane and up to Sunshine Coast. He believes that these cities all have unrealised potential in architecture and is optimistic design will move beyond being only “sub-tropical”. Instead, it will integrate our culture of casualness, the climate, the beach, digitisation, globalisation and tourism all together to create something new.Anthony's ambition is to design to improve the lives of people, whether it's through great outcomes for clients, through beauty of design, user-experience or simply satisfies its intended use. He understands every situation is different, meaning every challenge is a chance to test, prod and an opportunity to make buildings better.
