My main focus, as an account manager, is to provide an outstanding client experience and strive for the overall improvement of the client / vendor relationship.As an account manager, I acted as WALZ'​ key point of contact, ensuring effective communication between WALZ, our clients, and internal resources throughout the client's implementation and relationship cycle. Although Project Management is not part of the position, I have taken charge of the scoping and management of my client's projects through the pipeline as well as advising clients on the best, most cost effective way to achieve their project's goal. I am responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships by assessing client needs, escalating client issues, managing overall expectations, maintaining client's document repository, handling client inquiries, submitting project billing details, and hosting client site visits/audits.I've spent a considerable amount of time at my position here at Walz focused on process improvement, team collaboration and training, and empowering various resources by enabling access to additional tools and documentation resources to improve departmental efficiency. One example of process improvement would be the reduction of affidavit turn-around time and manual touch-points for affidavit generation by 50% and 80% respectively. My continued hunger for inter-departmental knowledge has sparked numerous process improvements including requesting access forand training the account management team to access our SQL and HP databases in order to check programming details,in real time without having to leverage technical resources or open a research ticket.My time here does not start/stop at 8-5. I've truly invested myself in the continued success of the organization and I constantly look for areas of improvement, both between us and our clients, as well as internally.
