Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and leading the activities of all warehouse staffing, issuing and recovery of Infantry Combat Equipment (ICE) to Marine and Navy personnel throughout National Capitol Region (NCR)

Supply Chief for Training Command w/ collateral duty as a Sergeant Instructor during the summers for the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School.

Properly screen and evaluate candidates to potentially become Officers of Marines. Lead and guide them through rigorous physical training, prepare them for Military testing while maintaining focus in a very demanding and stressful environment.

I started as a Drill Instructor moved up to Processing Drill Instructor. Then Senior Drill Instructor and finally promoted to the built of Chief Drill Instructor. In the Marine Corps recruits are under your charge for 3 months at a time known as “Boot Camp”. Considered the toughest and most disciplined basic training of all military branches, Marine Corps boot camp is a 12-week transformation of civilian recruit to a United States Marine. Tasked with the daunting challenge of transforming recruits to Marines are Drill Instructors, each of which are the embodiment of the most highly-trained and disciplined Marines the Corps has. We are with the recruits every moment from when they step on the yellow footprints to graduation. Drill Instructors challenge each recruit mentally and physically until they are all instilled with the long standing traditional Marine Corps values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Some of our responsibilities include areas such as military discipline, military education, physical fitness, core values, and weapons training. Through this intense training we are developing young men and women into better people in mind, body, and spirit; while pushing them to earn the title United States Marine which is the proudest moment a recruit will have. every Marine will never forget the terrifying moments they had courtesy of their Drill Instructors. The title of Drill Instructor is a billet independent of rank, held by Non-Commissioned Officers who successfully completed the intense training program of Drill Instructor School to earn this prestigious title of United States Marine Corps Drill Instructor.
