Worked remotely from Japan on sustainability research and new business development for an organic fertilizer company based in the Midwest. Developed a company sustainability story, conducted research on environmental technologies, liaised with organic certification agencies, coordinated research projects, consulted on environmental policy, assisted in international business development.

Managed projects related to Federal Clean Water or Clean Air Act compliance as well as Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) compliance for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) and municipalities. Prepared formal correspondence with regulatory agencies and the US Department of Justice. Mapped client properties in ArcGis and performed water sampling to fulfill compliance requirements. Worked on IDEM CAFO permit renewals. Assisted with Biogas to Compressed Natural Gas upgrade projects. Helped design and construct proprietary nutrient recovery technologies for Indiana dairy farms.

Managed volunteers and staff for a historic house museum and research center. Shared responsibility for museum finances and budget with Director. Coordinated marketing for events and designed interpretive programs.

As a heritage interpreter, I work in a variety of roles to provoke community stewardship of the historical and cultural resources of the Barker Mansion and Michigan City. Through nonpersonal media, frontline interpretation, preservation work, archival practices, exhibit design, and professional writing I aim to connect the story of the Barker Family as well the architectural and cultural history of Michigan City Indiana in the Gilded Age to the general public. In three years with the mansion, I have designed several dozen interpretive programs; acquired a book contract with the History Press of Charleston South Carolina; learned preservation and archival skills; formed partnerships with various local businesses, nonprofits, archives, and other community resources; promoted Michigan City tourism; as well as general upkeep of the mansion and daily tour offerings.

Teaching assistant for two sections of Logic 145, Valparaiso University's first-order logic class. Graded homework for sixty students per week as well as offering weekly help sessions, substitute teaching, and tutoring. Experience teaching multiple logic textbooks and systems including the current Baronett Oxford Logic Textbook and Plummer and Etchemendy's "Language Proof and Logic" with accompanying software package.
