People do not fit into stereotypes, each student is different and so is every educational institution. It is for this reason that my passion falls in helping schools create stimulating and engaging environments that appeals to all students, ensuring no one is explicitly or implicitly excluded. I have been fortunate to have carved global teaching experience across adult, primary and secondary education, getting a first hand view of how different teaching systems and curricula have developed according to their specific historical and social contexts.I am an advocate for digital learning and champion the need for personalised and flexible learning opportunities and technology. The pandemic has accelerated this process and has helped to usher in a new era of remote learning opportunities. In order to be at the forefront of this digital transformation, we need to thoroughly interrogate the relationship between education systems, power structures and the history of ideas. We are perfectly positioned at the beginning of the democratisation and decolonisation of education to start forging a new future for schools globally.
