While serving in the military I created a startup company focused on graphic and web design. The company quickly expanded to 3D modeling, film and animation support. During that time, l led a team of graphic designers and served as the Chief Executive Officer. The company quickly became well-known and recognized in the software development arena, partnering with other companies such as Adobe, Maxon, and Strata 3D. I began a newsletter the company provided while conducting tutorials and software reviews of large variety of technologies and began rating the software on versatility, capability and user-friendly environments, I authored articles about the technology and system requirements for potential users. The company was one of the first companies who provided interactive 3D visualizations in the web design for merchandise and products, allowing for potential customers to move, zoom and rotate products via the web before purchasing. This concept later became a common theme in other company designs, but my company was one of the first to experiment and present the idea. After a successful 10 years of service Complxminds has began to transition to a consulting service company.

I managed business development and capture activities for IAP's opportunity pipeline, primarily focusing on the Department of Defense and the intelligence community. My responsibilities included identifying, developing, and capturing new business opportunities. Leading the pursuit team, I ensured our proposals align with the company's strategy by establishing win strategies, technical approaches, teaming arrangements, competitive analyses, and pricing strategies. Additionally, as the BD/Capture manager, I provided writing support to the proposal team and ensured compliance with RFP requirements while maintaining the overall win theme throughout the capture management process.

With nearly 30 years of government service, including military experience, I've held various Department of Defense civilian positions worldwide. Leading the innovation program and applied research activities, I guide a small, dynamic team in cultivating innovative thinking among new hires in the CIO department. Additionally, I mentor groups in leveraging innovation methodologies to swiftly address complex national security challenges. As a Senior Program Manager in the CIO division, I bring strategic focus and a track record of enhancing productivity, processes, customer service, and profitability. I excel in swiftly analyzing key business drivers and devising strategies to tackle mission-critical issues effectively.

During my tenure as the program manager for the DIA's Innovation Office (INO) and the Directorate for Analysis (DI) representative under the DIA Deputy Director, I provided comprehensive support, guidance, and facilitation for innovation pilots as they progressed through the Innovation Development Process (IDP) to the Innovation Advisory Board (IAB), comprising DIA Seniors and Directorate Chiefs. As a key Program Manager within INO, I facilitated the advancement of complex projects, ideas, and prototypes through the IAB, developed milestones for pilots, and ensured that presentations were tailored for senior audiences. Given the IT-focused nature of many pilots, my extensive understanding of various computer systems, technologies, and capabilities ensured that prototypes/pilots undergoing the IDP were aligned with DIA systems, technological capabilities, and security protocols. Additionally, I spearheaded efforts and provided software/technology requirements to the CIO for the establishment and implementation of the DIA Director's Innovation Hub. Serving as a lead representative for INO in establishing DLA's Innovation Hub, I contributed essential IT systems and capabilities requirements necessary for the center's successful creation, ensuring alignment with mission needs based on industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
