My previous experience encompasses work for Defendant Insurers in their CTP and Motor Claims Divisions. As a recently admitted solicitor, I am keen to apply my education, training,and past experience towards achieving timely and cost effective results for my clients in their insurance matters.I am a passionate enthusiast of evidence based negotiations and dispute resolution. By ensuring that I have the best evidence available in support of my client's matter, I maximise my client's chances of success in their matters.

As a claims consultant, my responsibility has been to provide exceptional customer service to various internal and external customers. My role includes extensive written and verbal communication. I liaise with a number of different stakeholders such as; insured clients, third parties, other insurers, repairers, motor assessors, hire car companies and manage their needs and concerns.My role requires quick decision making, provide advice in relation to liability, policy wording, the ability to negotiate acceptable outcomes for various stakeholders, and last but not least, the ability to adapt to our company's monthly goals and agendas.My previous role at Allianz involved the settlement of catastrophic total loss claims, whereby we would settle our insured's motor vehicle, and in some instances organise a replacement vehicle in accordance with our company policies.

In 2003, Australia burst onto the world stage and won the World Barista Championships. Sunbeam, with the help of the WBC Champion Paul Bassett released a new coffee machine that revolutionised home espresso by offering it to the masses at an affordable price point.Sunbeam was the first domestic appliance company world wide that paired real commercial barista training with the sale of their machines. As one of the first trainers to join this group, I have managed to provide professional level barista training to over 1000 domestic customers over the 9 years that this course was run. In addition, there were many public speaking engagements, demonstrations at trade shows, and the chance to help brainstorm the next iteration of the Sunbeam Coffee Machine line.

As the settlements administrator, I managed the tail end of personal injuries claims, and various other general administration and relief clerk duties.My primary role was ensuring settlement monies arrived in a timely manner for our clients. and other overflow work as required, such as legal costings, reviewing and requesting statutory refunds, & collaborating with solicitors to identify files to prepare for settlement.
