Reporting directly to the Vice President for Global Trade Compliance ensured the company complied with outside regulatory and legal requirements of competent global jurisdictions such as the United States and the European Union, as well as it's own internal policies and bylaws. Program areas of responsibility included Dual Use and Military goods, Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs, Money Laundering and general crime related concerns.

Responsible for law enforcement and security operations at more than 500 Federal facilities in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Managed and supervised more than 100 Federal Employees and more than 1,000 contracted security personnel. This also involved managing a $1.2 Million operating budget and $72 Million in contract pass-throughs with a constant need to deliver more for less. Led initiative for inter-operability, security countermeasure sharing and joint operations protecting large federal facilities. Involved coordinating numerous federal, state and local agencies across multiple jurisdictions. Supervised the design, planning and implement complex security countermeasures including barriers; close circuit video; chemical, biological and radiological sensors; intrusion detection; and access control systems. Managed law enforcement support functions including records management, budget, finance, property, maintenance and training. Planned, organized and conducted inter-agency exercises with federal, state and local agencies for preparedness and response training in federal facilities including active shooter; fire; explosives related incidents; and evacuations. Supervised training, operations and employment of explosive detection canine teams. Practiced and proven conflict resolution skills with ability to confront challenges with a record of consistent success and high ethical standards. Analyzed and evaluated the work of law enforcement officers to maintain a practical and equitable balance in workload, and ensured proper priority was given to more critical or potentially sensitive assignments.

Directly responsible for the overall leadership and management of a Federal Law Enforcement Field Office. Duties include, but are not limited to: Simultaneous management of multiple complex criminal investigations; Management of budgets and assets; Management of personnel; Completion of personnel/position reviews; Completion of employee performance evaluations; Counseling of employees; Mentoring and advising employees; Reviewing and approving operational plans and proposed enforcement operations; Conducting case file reviews and audits; Conducting Confidential Source file reviews and audits.

Directly responsible for the supervision of a group of approximately twelve Special Agents (Criminal Investigators) and additional civilian support staff in the performance of their duties. Duties include, but are not limited to: Simultaneous management of multiple complex criminal investigations; Management of case related budgets and assets; Management of personnel; Completion of personnel/position reviews; Completion of employee performance evaluations; Counseling of employees; Mentoring and advising investigators; Reviewing and approving reports, affidavits, search warrants, arrest warrants, proposed court orders, operational plans and proposed enforcement operations; Conducting quarterly case file reviews and audits; Conducting quarterly Confidential Source file reviews and audits. Supervision of complex tactical operations; Establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with Municipal, State and other Federal law enforcement agencies; Ensuring compliance with agencies policies; Implementation of strategies designed to achieve agency’s stated mission and goals.

Directly responsible for performing complex criminal investigations concerning illicit drug trafficking and other violations of Federal and State law. Plan, organize, manage and control all aspects of criminal investigations. Duties included, but were not limited to: Collection, preservation and analysis of evidence and information; Carrying out surveillance of criminal suspects; Using undercover techniques; Giving sworn testimony in court; Establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with Municipal, State, other Federal law enforcement organizations and in some cases international and foreign law enforcement agencies; Working closely with and debriefing confidential sources of information; Preparation, completion and submission of detailed reports and affidavits; Interviewing of witnesses and interrogation of criminal suspects; Preparation and execution of search and arrest warrants; Service of subpoenas and summonses; Affecting arrest, Planning and execution of complex tactical operations.

Responsible for the enforcement of State and local laws and ordinances. Duties included, but were not limited to; Preliminary investigation of criminal offenses; Collection, preservation and analysis of evidence information; Completion of detailed written reports; Execution of search and arrest warrants; Patrol of geographic area; Crime prevention; Affecting arrests and issuing citations.
