In addition to leading the Global External Affairs Division, I provide USP executive-level representation with senior government leaders and regulators in the US and around the world including with the US FDA and US Congress; and with industry, pharmacy, patient, and physician groups. I am a frequent presenter and public speaker for the organization at major conferences and events, both in-person and virtual.(USP is a non-profit organization established in 1820, that develops public quality standards for medicines. Adherence to USP standards for medicines is legally mandated in the US Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act. USP standards are utilized in over 140 countries. The organization is governed by a Convention of 460+ industry, patient, consumer, and practitioner groups and government agencies from the US and other countries; and a Board of Trustees elected by the Convention. USP’s annual revenue is nearly $400 million with 1200 staff, and offices in 8 countries.)

This includes agenda setting, Board recruitment, onboarding, and management of Board Committees.*Secretary, USP Convention: lead, set strategy, and manage operations of the 460 member engagement and governing body comprised of healthcare practitioner, patient/consumer, industry, academic and regulatory/government organizations. Includes establishment and operationalization of six Convention sectors (Generics, Biologics, Excipients, Dietary Supplements, Innovation, Healthcare Practice) and six regional chapters (India/South Asia, Europe, Middle East and North Africa, Latin America, Asia Pacific, China).
