Excited about the opportunities this role will bring now and in the future

I have just completed the Pre Opening of this Student Accommodation Building. I work the night hours ensuring the building and its residents remain safe. There are a number of administration duties that i have to complete. There is alot to learn in this new venture/company. I am extremely excited as to where this role can take me in the near future

Duties:Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and productive.Lead by example when attending to guest requests by being proactive and resourceful.Resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers actively with necessary skills and training.Provide guidance, support training and leadership to all employees.Monitor training and offer guidance to employees whilst on shift.Process and assist with check-in, check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered to.Assist in all areas of the hotel during peak times to eliminate potential issues.Responsibility for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff members.Report to Front Office Manager and Financial Controller. Effectively manage the daily reconciliation of the Hotel’s trading.Check and prepare reports and statistical information in accordance with service standards and auditing procedures during the night shift.Represent the General Manager in their absence, holding responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the hotel’s overnight operation.Ensure maximum guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property
