Once upon a time… there was this beautiful concept called sound. It all started with the lub dub of a heartbeat to the thrill of a first cry, from the soft tune of a melody to the shatteringly powerful voice of an opera singer, we are surrounded by sound from the moment we come into this world.And, if the recent evolution in the area of vocal assistants is anything to go by, then I think we can all agree that sound is bound to be an integral part of our future too.It is believed that around 35% of the people on Earth have a predominant auditory memory (with 65% of us having visual or kinaesthetic memories). We think and read out loud to memorise things and use expressions such as, ‘I hear you’ or ‘It rings a bell’, to confirm our understanding. We are the avid podcast listeners. Many brands focus solely on visual or graphical signatures, basing their communication on signals, to which 40% of their public will not even respond.Fifteen years ago, determined to break this cycle, I created Audiotactic to entice a broader audience and more specifically people with auditory memories. After a short period as an orchestra conductor and having tried my hand at several different instruments, the artist in me is stepping aside to let the true music lover take centre stage and share an entirely different perspective of sound with you, which includes my passion for the business world. Studying IT and communication and working for 3 years in the English-speaking markets left me feeling dissatisfied, as if the final notes of the melody, that was my career to be, were missing. When I returned to France, I trained to become a sound integrator to improve my technical skills. This revelation was the inspiration behind the creation of my own musical identity agency. Audiotactic helps companies to define and improve their communication when it comes to sound: a territory that is as rich in opportunities and variations as it is broad. We turn our clients’ values into musical masterpieces, a true symphony of feelings, then we take this symphony and diffuse it across all types of media, for global coherence.
