With several years of supervisory and managerial experience, I have gained valuable knowledge and insight in working with a wide variety of personnel. Much of my recent focus has been on the hiring, training, and retention process, all of which has helped me become much more adaptable.My current position as a Case Manager with the Family & Children's Center aside, I was most recently employed with L&S Electric which provided me the opportunity to expand my professional knowledge and skills through a mutually beneficial partnership as an HR Specialist. Previous to this experience was G.O.A.L.S., a service provider operating within Central Wisconsin who provides Vocational Rehabilitation solutions to residents and businesses. Originally managing only Portage County, I was eventually reassigned to Marathon and Lincoln Counties, where I monitored and worked with area organizations for nearly two years managing the larger case load and communication on my own, with support from leadership. My skill-sets include networking, interpersonal, team-management, problem solving, and leadership (ongoing education), communication, and the ability to connect with others. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have some experience with Photoshop, PC hardware/software, and have some engineering and mechnical knowledge.I have worked for the regional home improvement store Menards, Inc. As a Department Manager where I handled weekly schedules, department meetings, and daily expectations and assignments. For my education I attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where I obtained a BS degree in Psychology - Human Services and another in Sociology, while also being employed by the University as an IT Supervisor. It was at this time that I began learning about people and time management, how to manage expectations, and the start of a long journey towards where I am now.
