Studied theater at Berkeley after a year at London University and University of Oklahoma. Began in Story Dept at Warner Bros., subsequently working w/George Stevens, Jr. at US Information Agency. Thereafter, asked by David Susskind to work on development of feature films at Talent Associates, N.Y. (see credits, inc. "Lovers and Other Strangers," "Straw Dogs" at anthonyloeb.com.) Subsequently asked to chair/develop Film Dept. at Columbia College and to develop graduate school in film. Interests evolved over years and began study of psychology at the Illinois School (under Marc Lubin). Received MA, Clinical Psychology and thereafter spent two years as psychotherapist in residence, Colgate University (w/previous MA in Cultural Studies) & subsequently earned CADC while at Rush Behavioral Health, Downers Grove. Began private practice, 2011
